James Taliento is an information security consultant and security researcher living in Huntington, NY. Although his expertise is taking an offensive approach to evaluating enterprise networks, his research is focused on protecting them.
James received a B.S. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University with a specialization in Information Assurance in 2009. Before (and during) his academic career, James worked in a variety of IT-related domains. Since then, he has been helping organizations better understand their security challenges, and by helping them establish strong security strategy and arming them with the tactics that make their program successful.
